First things first, I always take off my makeup. I usually use an eye makeup remover then go in with a wipe. I have to admit, even though I love wearing makeup, most times my skin feels suffocated and taking it off is a little pleasure I look forward to each day. I then use oil or a balm and go in with a second cleanse afterwards. I know you all feel me girls, it's the same feeling as taking a bra off - It's liberating.
If I don't have time, I hop in the shower but as of late I've been taking more baths. I like to light a candle, put on some relaxing music and let my body relax. This unwinding moment is where I gather my thoughts, reflect on the day and generally appreciate life. It's the little moments that count, that little bit of me time.

I then like to do a face mask or paint my nails at night. It's the only time I don't have a toddler trying to climb onto my lap and smudging my perfectly polished nails or pulling at my mask to get a better look at me... have you not seen my face before son?! For the past fortnight, I have been using the Sally Hansen Moisture Rehab Overnight Serum on my bare nails. Something that I was in need of since my cuticles have never been drier - they're now lovely jubbly. The serum delivers deep moisture and nutrient rich actives such as black orchid, acai and algae for intense nail and cuticle care. I simply apply it to my bare finger nails and let it work it's magic. It dries really quick which makes it a great little before bed pamper - no laying in bed afraid to move scenario here.
Just like a mask for the face, this overnight serum is your sleeping beauty secret for nails. The answer to my cuticle prayers. Shop the Sally Hansen range Here
If I'm not using the nail serum, I'm usually umming and ahhing about which colour to paint my nails. I'm currently loving the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure with Keratin collection. My little collection is coming along quite nicely and the one thing that sells to me is the 7 benefits in 1 bottle. It not just a colour, it's a base coat, has keratin for strengthening (again, something I really need and look for now) AND a top coat! This alone saves me so much time. A couple of coats and I'm done! Pretty colour nails for up to 10 days of chip resistant wear. Also, the brush is insanely amazing, you have to check it out. It's a wide brush which allows me to coat my entire nail in two strokes, my little finger just one and without any streaks. They've just released 5 new shades (did I mention they have the most beautiful nude colours?!) and at only £6.99 a pop, my collection is only going to grow larger.
The final part to my bedtime routine is to sit down and catch up on social media, watch videos, some Netflix or read a book. I get to do nothing without feeling guilty. As you can tell, I keep it pretty low-key these days, I'm in bed by 10:30pm and I love it. Whats your bedtime routine?
