Rimmel Kate 107 - MAC Media - YSL Rouge Volupte #1 - Revlon Matte Pink Pout - Revlon Lip Butter Candy Apple
When it comes to winter lipsticks, my shades vary from light to dark. I like to pair my darker shades with minimal eye makeup and my lighter shades with deep strong smokey eyes. The Rimmel Kate lipstick is a great everyday winter lip colour, deep yet vibrant and very flattering on pale skin tones like me. MAC Media is one I tend to only wear in the winter. Its the darkest lipstick I have in my entire collection and can be pretty daunting but paired with mascara only eyes, it creates a great impact.
During the winter, I like to play up my eyes, after all summer is about light eye makeup and if winter wasn't a time to go full on smokey, when is? I normally pair my smokey eyes with toned down muted hues such as YSL #1 and Revlon Pink Pout, both are extremely easy to wear. Finally once the strong gust of cold air hits my frozen face, my lips become terribly dry. This is when I whip out my trusty Revlon lip butters. These lend a helping hand to moisturising my lips and candy apple is my favourite for winter because the red reminds me of the festive activities.
