Every winter I purchase a new pair of black wedge boots, these normally become my everyday boot. This year I was having difficulty finding plain black wedge boots, thanks to the trends such as studs and buckles, it seemed like EVERY black wedge had some sort of detail on it. I also wanted real leather ones to last me through the season ( I tend to wear them to death every year) but every pair I saw was too pointy, platform not big enough, heel not high enough, the ankle too high and more….
Then I came across this pair in Topshop, it's the Attik boot and although not real leather, it looks close enough! These are very high however, maybe the highest boot I now own. Since I am short, I always say the higher the better which lead me to become some sort of expert at walking (and running) in high heels. The heel and height is comparable to the likes of Jeffrey Campbell booties which I am fine with so hopefully, no broken ankles this year, these may take practise. These were £62 which I thought was decent since they're not real leather. I can't wait to break these in! In fact, I might wear these to walk my dog later! (JOKE!)
