Rimmel Apocalips Big Bang Review and Swatch

Bought this on a drugstore whim. Having seen these new Apocalips everywhere, I decided to dive in and follow suit. I was immediately impressed as I stood swatching them in Boots. They are pigmented, smooth and creamy, everything I want in a lip product. I picked up 2 colours, one being Big Bang. After posting a snap on Instagram and Twitter only did I realise (100s of you told me) it was named, BIG BANG?! (a kpop boy band for those who are scratching heads) I fell in love even more.
When it comes to application, it's not for those in a rush, this gorgeous colour needs time, precision and a mirror for a superb finish. I applied one coat to my lips, the results are as above! Yes! Just one coat. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Despite the initial wow factors, it does tend to bleed. Thats probably my fault for not applying a lip liner beforehand but just a word of warning. Although it doesn't feel sticky, in fact it feels pretty great, it WILL transfer. I learnt the hard way when I was left with red smudges on my top. Obviously with such a bright vibrant colour, it pretty inevitable really.

Overall, its an amazing product and I would definitely recommend it. They do some great colours too and for £5.99, it's a steal.

What do you think? Will you be buying any?
