Review: Biore Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

Biore Makeup Remover Eyes & Lips*

I was really looking forward to giving this a try, so I was glad when I finished my old bottle of eye makeup remover. This formula is one of my favourites, half oil, half solution, I think these work best especially for the hard to remove mascara's I wear. After shaking the bottle, I soak my cotton pad with the solution and place it on my eye, waiting for 10 seconds before I start patting and removing in circular movements. Less than a minute, my eye is completely clean and makeup free, even my troublesome mascara is removed with ease.

Pros
It's quick, it does a tremendous job at removing any kind of eye makeup
Cute bottle
Affordable

Cons
Leaves a greasy residue
After shaking, the mixture separates again, quick quickly
Hard to get hold of unless you live in Asia

Overall I like this product, it does a great job and also being extremely affordable, it's perfect. I go through eye make up removers so quickly so an affordable price is important to me. However, I am not sure where I am going to purchase this again once I have finished.

Have you tried this product before? What is your favourite Biore product?

  2. My favourite! It does the job well, and it's cheap. I use the one that comes in a green bottle (for eyes). In Toronto, it retails for about 6-7$ when it's on sale.

  4. Ah sorry, I was mistaken!! It's not biore. The brand is called Balea. However! I swear by this formula and often compare it to Lancome's bifacil. Also a bit greasier, but does the job well :)

  5. My favorite Boire product will be the powder sheets! http://www.kao.com/sg/biore/bio_powdersheet_floral_00.html

I keep a pack with me all the time -- especially living in Singapore when we get all sweaty, sticky and gross quite quickly on a typical day :x

You should try it too!! :D

  7. I LOVEEE this product! I always stock up when I go to Hong Kong! There's a few seller that sells it on Ebay and I have always purchased it from them whenever I run out! Luckily there's also a few sellers around Toronto that sells them!

  8. I love oil based eye makeup remover. You should try the Mac Cleanse Off Oil - it's great for at breaking down hard to remove eye makeup.

  11. I've heard good things about Biore but I've never used this one. Right now, I use Neutrogena eye makeup remover and it's okay but I'm still looking for a better one.

  14. A friend recently let me try her Biore face makeup remover (it's the blue bottled Japanese version) and it was life changing. I don't think I'll ever change makeup removers again. It's water based so it doesn't leave a greasy residue and I also use it on my eyes even though it's for the face as it doesn't sting and removes all the eye makeup really well(they actually have a separate product for the eyes). I also received a small sample of their newest makeup remover product which is pink bottled and is jelly based but I find it to be just the same as the one I'm currently using. And also, the one I'm using has Japanese text all over it, so I'm not sure if the Japanese version is different from the products you have? But I bought it in Watsons or something in Singapore. The other pharmacies probably have it too.

  15. i love my biore sheet makeup remover. but this just gives me nightmares! :( i got pimple on my lid! big one! cause by the greasiness of this makeup remover. be-careful with this, make sure you remover the oil when washing your face. but i totally recommend the sheet makeup remover! it is the best!

  16. It sounds like a good product. But the hard to get a hold over Asia thing, that's really a downer

  17. Cute packaging.. Pinky bottle.
I want to try this product, but actually.. I'm never see this biore product at market. Although I live at Asia. Is that a new product from biore?

If I'm running out my make up remover, I just wearing baby oil. It oily but it helps to remove a mascara or gel liner waterproof.
