LUSH Emotional Brilliance Preview

Last week I went along to preview the new LUSH cosmetic range, due to launch worldwide on July 21st. The range consists of lip colours, eyeliners and eyeshadows. The whole concept behind emotional brilliance is not about having the seasons hottest colour nor wearing it the way everyone else is, its more about make up for you, your mood and depending on which colours you pick during the game, there are corresponding words such as glamourous, control and confident amongst others. Its the power of suggestion, what you believe in and hopefully once your wearing the word, you will empower it and behave a certain way.

Play The Game

Once the range is launched, the emotional wheel will be available throughout the stores, allowing you to play and determine your colours. Close your eyes while the wheel is being spinning and once stopped, open your eyes and choose the colours you are most drawn to. On hand was a gorgeous lady to guide me through each word and surprisingly, she was spot on! My words were Control, Passionate and Strong, couldn't of put it better myself HA!

Along with the Emotional Brilliance, LUSH are also releasing some supplementary products to complete the new range, mascara, face powder and skin tints. One a highlighter and one a bronzing tint, both look great on their own or mixed into foundation and moisturisers.

As you can see by the swatches, the skin tints are gorgeous! The lip colours are intense and packed with pigments, a little goes a long way. The mascara is as black as black gets and the eyeliner is such a lovely shade of blue.

Liquid Lips £14.50
Liquid Eyeliner £14.50
Cream Eyeshadow £14.50

Everything is available from 21st July 2012 in all LUSH stores WORLDWIDE

All products were given free for review and swatching purposes*

  2. what an interesting way of presenting a new line. more about finding the best way to enhance your beauty rather than trying to fit in in an image that might not be very "you".
    loved the packaging!!

  5. Wow these look amazing. I am a big fan of Lush and surprised it has taken this long for them to launch cosmetics beyond the tints they currently sell. Can't wait to try these then they hit down in store. :) x
