Last weekend I was treated to a treatment by the lovely people at Rodial. I headed down to House Of Rush which is situated in Piccadily, London to put the treatment to the test. My treatment was carried out by Nicole, who made me feel very welcome. I was greeted by a drink of my choice and a lovely selection of pretzels which was nice.
The treatment was done in one of their exclusive rooms which included a heated lay down, a shower finished with a relaxing selection of music and lighting. The treatment is advertised as increasing blood circulation, skin tone and texture whereas the clay mask is to detoxifie skin, helping to break down fatty cells (cellulite).
Nicole started by body brushing my thighs, bums and tummy area, she then went in with a good scrub, techniques that included a buffing motion with a rolled up towel. A volcanic ash clay was then applied to those exact areas and wrapped up in bandages (which were very tight, but felt amazing). Whilst the clay was working it's magic, Nicole gave me an arm and head massage. Finally I was left alone to shower off and the treatment was finished with a slather of slimming oil, applied in massaging movements. All products used are not available to buy. They are designed for salon use only although they did sell a whole range of other Rodial products which are similar.
After the treatment, my thighs felt firmer, tighter and more smooth. I can't say they looked any slimmer but they definitely felt less wobbly! I would definitely go back there for a second session this summer. The 45 minutes was a slice of heaven.
