SKII - A Japanese brand favourited by many asians, myself included. I first heard about this products years ago, although it has quite a low profile in the UK (only available at exclusive stores, Harrods is one), it's a complete opposite in Asia. SKII is widely available and VERY popular over there. SKII doesn't come cheap though, my 75ml bottle of essence (smallest size) cost me around £60. SKII is known for it's rich ingredients with Pitera being the main attraction.
Facial Treatment Essence is commonly known as 'miracle water' in Asia, you use it as you would a toner although I prefer not using a cotton pad, I pour some into my palms and pat it on my face for maximum impact. Not only does it hydrate, encourage surface renewal and smooth, skin is left radiant and plump. So good I even skip moisturiser sometimes (which I know I shouldn't!).
How I use it
I like to pour 4-5 drops into my palms and pat that onto my face. I use this after cleanser and before my serum and moisturiser.
Some people are prone to breakout with this product so I suggest trying a sample first. After all it is quite an investment. I am lucky, my skin did not react.
The smell, it's rather unpleasant but after a while, I got used to it.
Pricey! I use this in conjunction with their Cellumination Serum and Facial Treatment Masks. My purse aches every time!
I have been using this for nearly a year now lets just say, it's my miracle water... After every use, my face is plump, radiant and as smooth as a baby's bottom. My skin tone has become more even and my fine lines less visible. Thumbs up!
