Review: Real Techniques Stippling Brush

Real Techniques Stippling Brush £11.99

I once said to myself 'No more make up brushes'. I had convinced myself that I have every single brush I need, now and forever, then the Real Technique brushes came on to the scene. My youtube, blog and twitter feed was over spilled with great remarks, reviews and the mist of hype when a great product has been born, found, tested and exploited. I caved in whilst walking along the aisles of Boots, amidst the great reviews for the entire range, I settled on one brush, the stippling one.
Cracking open the box and pulling it out, I noticed how incredibly soft the bristles were, dense too. I liked the look of the brush, the feel and for £11.99, it's rather bloody fantastic. My first use was a struggle though. I used it with a liquid foundation were I realised the brush is a little tricky to manoeuvre, you need to apply slightly more pressure than your standard sipping brush. I put that down to the short bristles and the density though. After a great buff, I can confirm that my foundation looked flawless. A little product goes a long way too with this brush,  a big plus mark.
I wouldn't say this was the best brush I have used but I can't fault it either. For £11.99, it's an amazing deal. If you don't own a stippling brush then I recommend buying this one but if you already have a decent one that you like, then stick to it. In a nutshell, it's great, I like it, I would recommend it but I wouldn't say run out and buy it.

  5. I think I prefer this brush for cream foundations instead of liquid, though after buffing it well into the skin, like you said, the finish is flawless. Could be used for cream blushes too ^^ Thanks for sharing Suzy xx
