Rodial Dragon Blood Eye Gel rrp £40 15ml
Rodial is a brand I always take a look at whilst browsing the Liberty's beauty hall. I was initially attracted to the brand when the word's skin bleach caught my eye. Ever since then, Rodial has been on my radar. For this post, the product in question is from their latest collection. The Dragon Blood Eye Gel, another eye catching eyeball popping name huh? Love it.
What Rodial say:
This instantly cooling gel refreshes and hydrates puffy tired eyes with Rose Water, Arnica and Dragons Blood. Instantly brighter, the delicate eye area is restructured to thicken translucent skin and plump wrinkles. Hyaluronic Acid comforts dehydrated skin and refines the skin’s surface for wide awake eyes.
What I Say:
Lets talk about the packaging first, I love the colour, I love the pump, I really do love the overall packaging, it speaks luxury. My main concern is the size of it. I am used to small travel friendly pots of eye creams/gels so when this baby landed through my letterbox, I was slightly taken back. Big and chunky, no doubt will it look great sat on your dressing table but if your a frequent traveller, have those empty pots ready. Now moving on to the product, well, I can't fault it. The gel formula blends effortlessly and sinks in almost immediately leaving the eye area refreshed, plumped and hydrated. I will always favour gel over cream formulas, creams can feel greasy sometimes and as a result of my sensitive eyes, it can irritate them. I have been using this for a little over a month now and in conjunction with some great sleep, I can clearly see the difference. My eye bags have vanished, literally. My under eye shadows are not as noticable and as a result, I don't need to apply as much concealer anymore and HEY! It contains rose water, big thumbs up! Price wise, it is on the expensive side but I always say, if something works then it is worth every single penny.
Have you tried any Rodial products? What's your thoughts?
