January Glossybox

After a long and tiring day at work, I came home to this little surprise - January's Valentines Glossybox! This month, the box has gone all hot pink on us with sweet delicate details thrown in. When I opened the box to reveal the small heart sticker, I said aloud... AWWWW.... such a cute little touch and not forgetting the little extra sweet inside, maxed out sweetness!

What's in store for us this month?

Davines Authentic Formulas Moisturizing Balmr (Sample Size)
Multi purpose balm which can be used on wet hair AND the body.

Davines Authentic Formulas Cleansing Nectar (Sample Size)
Another multi purpose product. Can be used as a face cleanser, hair mask and a deep conditioning body mask, to be rinsed off.

Eyeko Skinny Liner (Full Size)
Eyeko SKINNY EYELINER Pencils for precise definition and intense colour.

Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer - Dewy (Sample Size)
Oil-free, pore minimising formula creates the perfect canvas by concealing flaws, evening skin tone and can be used under or in place of foundation. One universal shade creates the perfect skin tone match.

FAB Gentle Body Wash (Sample Size)
A moisturizing, irritant-free everyday cleanser ideal for even the most sensitive skin

Inside the box was 5 products in which one was full size. I can't say I love this box but it definitely isn't dissapointing either. I am most looking forward to using the Murad Primer and the Eyeko liner in which I will use as an eye brightener. The gentle body wash will be thrown into my mounting 'Holiday/Gym/Travelling' product basket.
Having scoured through the product list available, it caught my attention that Clarins AND Orly products were available but I received neither, which is rather dissapointing as I do love both of those brands.

I just love the whole excitement of receiving these boxes, it reminds me of olden days when my parents would take me into Woolworths to purchase those 'lucky dip bags', the tension of opening the box, reading the product list and sniffing/swatching every product alone is worth the monthly subscription in my books.

What's your thoughts on this months Glossybox?

  2. I got the exact same box as you, wasn't too impressed apart from the primer, though I must admit the box colour alone made it worth it!

  8. Ok, feeling a little bit smug because I got the Clarins products and, so far, am really really impressed with the results. Hehehe.

I also got the Eyeko eyeliner pencil in midnight blue, the Murad primer and the FAB body moisturiser. Initial thoughts were that it wasn't as good as the December box but still pretty pleased and really really pleased with the skincare stuff. It really interests me what other people thought of their boxes - how are you liking your products so far?
