Origins to the rescue

Origins is a brand I have been using for years, it never fails to rescue my skin from breakouts, dryness and most of all, spots! I know I can rely on their products. Not only are Origin's products 100% natural, the price point is pretty decent considering they do wonderful things for the skin.

The 3 Origins product I rely on are Modern Friction, Clear Improvement and Spot Remover. These three products work well together, they do a great job at combating skin problems.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Modern Friction Exfoliator £30.00 125ml

'Sand-blasting skin with coarse, chemical crystals? How painfully passé. Here's age-smoothing exfoliation without irritation.

Skin-refining Rice Starch cushioned in cream, rapidly removes sluggish cells, uneven patches and signs of skin damage and discolourations. Lemon Oil kick starts the process of illumination. Vitamin C mops up skin-menacing free radicals.

There's no ouch, extra steps or other complications. No redness or flaking follows. Signs of lines and size of pores appear to shrink.

Skin looks perfectly polished, smooth and luminous.'

I use this exfoliator twice a week. I apply this to my dry clean skin and slowly massage the grains into my face. Once the scrub becomes gritty and slowly dries up, I wet my hands with warm water and start massaging again. Not only does this product slough away dry dead skin cells, it reveals a brighter, tighter and more plump appearance. Massaging in slow circular motions will also help blood circulation and minimize puffiness. I LOVE this, my skin always feels amazing afterwards!

Clear Improvement Mask £19 100ml

"When environmental pollutants, dirt and debris get under your skin, its waste-filtering system gets jammed, pores get clogged, skin looks cloudy. Nature's complexion clean-up crew gets to the bottom of skins overcast condition and clears the way for it to act its best. Activated Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental pollutants, Lecithin dissolves impurities. Without all that "stuff" down there, skin "breathes a sigh of relief."

I normally use this twice a week too, straight after using my exfoliator when my skin is super clean and free of any dead skin. I apply a thin layer across my entire face, sit back and wait for it to dry up. I normally leave it on for 15-20mins, it is pretty obvious when it is time to wash it off, you wont be able to smile once its dried! The clay acts as a magnet, drawing out impurities and any clogged pores. I would warn however, do not do this mask before any important event, the clay will draw out any impurities meaning all problems will surface. I personally think this is the best clay mask I have tried, it really works!

Spot Remover £12 10ml

"Red PMS blemish? Bad joke breakout? Heal, fight and fade it fast. Just dab on a dot and feel blemish-busting Salicylic Acid instantly help speed healing while anti-spot technology helps visibly correct post blemish darkening. Skin-calming Caffeine and Red Algae help visibly relieve irritating redness. And to help keep skin looking spotless, super exfoliators eliminate excess oils and pore-clogging debris."

I bought this a few months ago, since then Origins have reformulated and advanced the product. I featured this in my August Favorite YT video so you can imagine how much I LOVE this. I always apply this overnight to any spots and by the morning, the spot is calmed, redness is diminished and the spot start drying up. This is probably the best spot remover I have EVER tried =)

So, there is my 3 rescue products, all from Origins! All products were bought by me! =)

Have you tried Origins before?

  9. i don't get what you mean by "all problems will surface".... Also according to beauty-in-love blog, I think she said not to use the clay mask in conjunction with an exfoliator. i think she said to use one or another but not both. But i could be wrong....love you blog and channel anyway.
