Just when you think it's empty....

The other day, I desperately wanted to use bb cream. I didn't feel like like wearing a full face of foundation. I Like to switch during the week, maybe 3 days of foundation and 4 days of bb cream, well actually, I don't wear a base everyday but anyways, you get the jist. When wearing bb cream, The skin is still covered but it allows your skin to breath.

Well, anyways back to the post, I ran out of BB cream, BOTH bb creams, I switch between Elisha coy and Dr Jart but both were failing. A few squeezes of air later, I gave up and brutally cut up the tube in desperate need!

Below is what I needed, a empty container to store it and a cotton bud to scrap it out...

After a brutal cut, walla!

Can you see how much there is left??! why didn't you just squeeze out!

Anyhoo, this is the remaining, pretty impressive, it will last me for the next few days and especially that all important flight on Saturday!

This is just the remaining of one tube, I still need to murder the Dr Jart.

Some of you may be wondering, why don't I just purchase a new one? Good Question...
My reason is, I am due to fly out to Hong Kong on Saturday night, If I bought one online, it won't come in time, and plus bb creams are alot cheaper in HK!
I am super excited to stock up on bb creams in HK, except LOTS of hauls! (I am taking an empty suitcase *mwahahaha evil laugh)

So, next time when you think its all over, murder it and surprise yourself! (I am referring to cosmetics, not boyfriends)

  1. I don't think you necessarily have to throw it away and leaving this one, while this one has SO much left. It'd be such a waste ;) I think... xd

  2. Oh yes! Haha I just tried this with my seemingly near-barren tube of Missha BB cream and got enough out for 2-3 more applications, not as much as you but pretty good!

  5. This is always the case with tube products! I do this all the time. Dr Jart is my staple BB cream too and I get family from HK to stock me up on it. Although I haven't tried or heard of Elisha Coy. I will have to look into that. Thanks! x

  8. I do this with all of my lotions! Squeeze-y bottles get really annoying. -_-
Lol, and I think the same process would work great for ex-boyfriends too ;)

  10. Nice one hun! I so need to start doing this on all my tubed products, I cringe to think how much product I've wasted! I've never used BB creams before, seems like a really interesting product, is it available in UK?

    Oh, not boyfriends? Okay.
Haha, I have the same problem with all of my tube-related items. My mo always cuts open toothpaste containers so we can scrape the last of it out! =P

  17. Wow! I love your entry on 'murdering' the BB creams tubes. I also do that on my facial wash tubes. I am very practical when it comes to stuff so I use them until they are really empty.
I have a blog that combines fashion, travel and food in a very entertaining way. Hope you could all check it out some time. ;)

  22. lmfao last time i went, i packed one suitcase full of what i needed for the trip, and the carry on and other big suitcase was full of gifts for relatives, so when i came back i had one suitcase and a half full of hauls - booyah! kind of sad how the max weight for suitcases decreased. 22 kg per suitcase? BB cream in hong kong is sooo cheap like $10 dollars for on Super BB Cream, whereas here we have to pay at least $25. wtf.
