Haulage...again...

Do any of you have go through a phase of hauling? Like one week it will be lipsticks, next it will be shoes and so on..

Well, for me. The past week has been all about jewelry. I tend to buy a lot of costume jewelry, from the high street, markets, boutiques and one off pieces. I find costume jewelry MUCH more attractive and interesting to look at than the more expensive stuff, the jewelry is much more easier to jazz up an outfit or portray a mood.

I am actually allergic to costume jewelry, this will explain why I don't like to spend great amounts of money on these things. They turn me blue, green and red which often result in a rash. This is just after a few hours of wear.

but per usual I get attracted to pretty things and let me introduce you to some of my new friends....

Left Ring: Primark Right Ring and necklace: Accessorize

top 3 from Topshop, Bangles from H&M

I love any sort of jewelry that looks vintage and worn, what kind of jewelry do you like?

Onto the make-up....

Drugstores are currently doing 3for2 offers on Revlon. I walked by this Spring 2010 range a few times and controlled myself, telling myself I don't need another Lipgloss nor Nail Polish but damn this time I had totally given in to the offer!

Nail colour: MINTED, Lipglosses in Coral Reef and Peach Petal

This colour is SO pretty! Im really into my pastel greens and blues at the minute and this is perfect. I have a feeling this will be my summer staple polish! and like always, Revlons nail polishes are great quality, consistency is smooth and pigmented but two coats is needed to create an even finish.

Peach Petals: such a gorgeous nude/peach.pale pink colour. This was applied on bare lips and as you can see, it has sunk into some of my lip lines, A lipstick is needed underneath. The colour reminds me of MACs underage and c-thru mixed into one. PERFECT!

Coral Reef: This one is my favorite. Im a sucker for a bit of coral on the lips. This colour gives a really nice natural finish, with just enough colour keeping it wearable throughout the summer days. Its been in my handbag ever since I bought it =)

Have you purchased any of the Revlon Range?

Hope your all having a fantastic weekend, the sun has finally come out to play ^_*

  30. I take back my previous comment. I passed by a local Target (in the US) and saw them there. Course, I bought one, and I'm loving it as much as you are! It's highly pigmented and fresh for Spring + Summer! but mine isn't as pastel as yours. I'd trade in my Nude Lustre.
