MAC VIVA GLAM Gaga / Cyndi

I know you've all probably seen 100sssssss of photos on these Viva Glam lipsticks but here is just another opinion...

My friend actually got me these on the day they launched but I haven't had the chance to collect them until last last night. This was my first time of seeing them in the flesh..

My initial reaction was good, creamy, smooth, nice packaging but, yes there is always a but, there rather sheer.

(all photo's taken in natural daylight, no flash)

I swatched them, having to run over the swatch 3-4 times to achieve this colour..

Both colours are beautiful but my personal fave is Cyndi, its more wearable and compliments my complexion more than the Gaga. I feel that the Cyndi shade has been heavily overshadowed by Gaga, I mean its beautiful too but Im sure I have very similar colours already.

Also if you look closely at the photo advert, it is rather misleading, the colours seem more vibrant, more umph and generally more shine.

Overall I do like these and Im sure you'll be seeing alot of FOTD's featuring the Cyndi ^_*

Have you got these? which is your fave?

  6. I ordered the Gaga one it's supposed to come on monday. But cyndis colour looks really disposable, i mean like it doesnt look like anything special. Of course this is the first time ive seen it swatched so it is a nice color and i like that fact that its build-able and maybe someday i'll get it but the gaga one was more appealing. and plus its all for a good cause so its good anyways!

  14. Hi, this is totally random. I was wondering if you're a fashion merchandising student? Because I really want to go into fashion merchandising, but i don't know if that's really me.

  17. I really liked this review. It is nice to see the contrast between the too. I am thinking about trying the Gaga--simply because I don`t have that color!
