Depottted

My Urban Decay primer potion came to that time... yes...

depotting time....

Iv seen many others depotting this baby but its not until you depot it yourself you think WHOA!
The amount left inside was ridiculous, yea the packaging is pretty and unique but jeez UD must really amend this. I feel for the people who may have just thrown it away and ran out to buy a new one =/

Have you depotted yours? x

  1. Wow! There is so much left... O_O I thought that the bended applicator was suppose to get to the fat parts of the bottle..

  2. I was just as shocked as you, its ridiculous how much was left in there after I thought it was empty. There's more at the foot of the bottle too.

  3. But it can dried up pretty quickly in next 2-3 weeks..anyone who knows how to avoid that??

  4. I depotted my sample UDPP and even in that there was a lot left. The only problem is it dried up pretty fast!

  5. You know what also works? It's a trick i learned a while ago that works for lip glosses too. Put the items in a cup with hot water, let them sit inside of it for about 5 minutes, and the product will melt at the bottom. Then you can reuse it like previously.

  6. My UDPP is nearly coming to an end but before I chop it all up, I'm going to take off that rubber stopper which 'cleans' the wand :)

  11. Must be stored in an air tight pot/jar/tube etc. I used one that was made for containing cream/liquid products and have kept it for monthsss without it drying out ^^

  12. oh wow.. there really is a LOT of product left! this should last you for another good while! they should make the wand longer haha :P

  13. I've depotted mine before, but the way you did it was way easier than how I did. But yeah it's incredible to how much you have left!

  15. I haven't depotted mine. I just took the rubber doodle off the top... But wow ! that's a lot left in that tube.

  16. Mine needs to be cut up soon! I've ordered some empty click pens and I'm gonna fill them up with the UDPP. Even after scraping I think there's enough UDPP sticking at the sides of the tube for 5 applications or so!

  19. How did u cut it open by yourself? I didn't have enough strength to do it so I just took off the rubber stopper. That way I could still get some product out of the crevices and several more months of use out of it.

  20. yes, I've depotted mine! Oh yeah, thanks to my beauty blogger friends who told me to store this in glass jars instead of these plastic jars as your UDPP will dry up easily :)

  23. I freaking hate the packaging, but I love this stuff. I usually tap the bottom of the bottle in my palm so some of it goes down the bottle. I depotted using the microwave method. You should try it next time you depot again. Saves your blades. (:

  24. That is A LOT of product! I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance for the reason that the packaging of UDPP is ridiculous.

  29. Wow thanks for this info!

I was about to throw it out because I thought there was no more in the bottle.
Phew! What a waste it would have been, not to mention waste of money!

    Thanks so much!
